FULL MOON MEDITATION
The full moon is a time of positive opportunity to increase our positive energy .The full moon pours down a tremendous amount of energy, that a person being in a calm state of mind receives a positive effect and whatever is going on in our body, mind and spirit will be amplified.
It presents us with a time of opportunity, a time in which we can allow spiritual energies to reach human hearts and minds. The meditating individual is part of a network of meditation. In places groups meet as well, strengthening the ‘channel’. It is a conscious and deliberate process, a reorientation of the heart and mind towards sources of spiritual energy and a conscious direction of the energies and impressions received out into the world, using the mind to create thought currents that will carry new ideas into the world of human thought.
In our Gnanapeedam we have been holding group meditation sessions at the time of the full moon every month for more than 40 years and is experienced the higher level of cosmic energy by those who attend for granted.
Group meditation is, therefore, our intention in coming together each month. It is intended to focus, unite and lift the thought process to tune to the high cosmic consciousness of those present.
The effect of full moon meditation aligned with higher centres of life within establishes the needed changes in consciousness level.
It is invocative of the higher energies, and creates a channel of contact between soul and spirit.
